Hi All,
So since it is the week of art and science I thought I should tell you guys that my work in masters as an Art student includes a lot of mathematics. I use the limitations of equations, through the medium of processing to create artworks that grow imperceptibly over time and then I apply them on 3D objects in the form of installations. Some of my projects with polar equations can be seen here and here.
In my free time I make artworks that i post on my blog
For my thesis I am using the equation for the lemniscate, figure of eight a symbol for infinity and creating artworks that are inspired by the phenomenology behind a parallel universe. I hope to share it with you in a few weeks.
The world of maths + art is really exciting and full of possibilities. Abdicating the pressure of choice to a system, feels liberating and often leads to surprising results :) Looking forward to your blogs this week.
